Out Now - The End Of The Beginning - New Big Finish Multi-Doctor Adventure!
Big Finish have announced that this multi-doctor adventure will be the last release in their monthly range of Doctor Who full-cast recordings.
The series goes out with a bang, bringing together the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth Doctors! Mark has been involved with the range from the beginning - Phantasmagoria was the second release, in 1999 - so it's fitting that he's here at the end. (Although Big Finish will still be releasing new Doctor Who boxsets. Phew!)
The Fifth Doctor and Turlough's adventure (Death and the Desert) is set in the Sahara - somewhere Mark knows all about!

Not many good things have happened in lockdown - except in the UK we now have a rhyme for "Turlough" - but at last there's something exciting - a Fifth Doctor/Turlough adventure recorded in September!
The Doctor/Turlough adventures always have a great dynamic, and there's plenty of Mark for your money. Here's the synopsis:
"The TARDIS brings the Doctor and Turlough to a high-tech scientific installation on the planet Testament in the distant future. The human race have become intergalactic buccaneers, thanks to their ability to generate vast amounts of power for long-distance travel. Testament is the source of that power – and the Doctor has never quite understood how it works.
But experiments are underway on Testament - experiments with potentially explosive and devastating consequences. And even the Doctor may be too late to stop it.
With politicians and bureaucrats getting in the way, the race is on. Not to stop a disaster - but to save as many people as possible."

A new Bluray version of Peter Davison's first season is available - Mark wasn't in this season but he is on the special features, sitting on a sofa discussing the series. The Blu Ray special collector's edition of Season 20 is in the planning stage - Mark says he has been invited on a trip to Amsterdam for the Arc of Infinity reunion (even though he wasn't in that one!) Season 20 is, of course, the one where Vislor Turlough made his first appearance.

Out Now! A Big Finish Lost Story by Stephen Gallagher, best-selling author and writer of Terminus! It was Stephen's pitch for Season 21, rejected with a note saying: "You’ve sent us another million-dollar movie and we just can’t do them."
